Generalmente durante la primera entrevista para cualquier posición de trabajo en este país el entrevistador le hace al candidato una serie de preguntas que le permiten tener una idea de cómo piensa el candidato y cómo es su comportamiento. Es fundamental contestar acertadamente cada una de ellas para ser llamado a una segunda entrevista. A continuación compartimos algunas de las preguntas típicas que nos han hecho  ó nos han dicho que nos pueden hacer en una entrevista:

  • Why do you want to leave your present position? ó Why did you leave your last position?

  • Why did you leave the other positions you have held?

  • If you had your choice of a job in any company, what type of job and company would you choose?

  • What would you say are your greatest strengths/weaknesses?

  • If you could start your career over, what would you do differently?

  • What would you say are the five biggest accomplishments in your life? Why?

  • How do you get along with your co-workers and with your supervisor?

  • How would you describe your personality?

  • Have you managed or supervised anyone?

  • Have you ever prepared or managed a budget?

  • Have you ever had P&L responsibility?

  • What do you know about our industry?

  • Have you hired anyone?

  • Do you know anyone working for our company?

  • Have you trained anyone?

  • What are you looking for in a company?

  • What are some challenges that you have successfully met? How?

  • How did you get your previous positions?

  • Why did you choose this particular field of work?

  • What do you think determines a person’s progress in a company?

  • Do you prefer working by yourself or with others?

  • What makes you feel successful?

  • How would people who know you describe you? How would your worst enemy describe you?

  • What do you offer this company? Why should I/we hire you?

  • Where do you want to be in 5 to10 years?
